When we saw a photo from Deadpool and Wolverine of Deadpool with a TempPad, we knew for sure that this movie would be a wild adventure in the multiverse and that Deadpool would use it to open the Gates of Time to cross the timeline.
There are so many wild opportunities here for the Marvel Studios boss to play with Kevin Feige he recently described the film as “many dreams coming true at once”.
He added: “[Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman] they’ve developed a friendship in real life and this fun kind of rivalry on social media, so it’s fun to see them together in a movie. It will be great.”
Feige went on to talk about Deadpool and Wolverine interacting with characters from the Loki series and teased the characters even more.
He said: “Seeing them interact with TVA agents and people who are familiar with that organization from Loki season 1 and 2 is a thrill. The combination of all those different worlds and all those different flavors, and maybe even a few more , which people have conquered.” They won’t know until they see the movie, it’s a thrill.
“It’s very exciting how we can continue with the same actors in new incarnations, which is fantastic, and I think it’s a look into the future as we continue to bring these comic book stories to life.”
A previously published description of the story reads: “Not only will he [Deadpool and Wolverine] are working to defeat a slew of villains plaguing the Marvel Universe, man, but they’ll also be busting open the gates of the MCU franchise and putting their R-rated, 20th Century Fox-style spin on some of our favorite Phases 1 moments -4!”
Feige also assured fans that the film is “just as gory, just as foul-mouthed and R-rated as you would expect” and added that it is also “extremely captivating and emotional.”
It is said that there are so many characters and actors who will appear in Deadpool and Wolverine. Some of these rumors are true, but there are also characters mentioned who will not appear.
It will be a fun experience to watch this movie and see how this story unfolds. With Deadpool revisiting the first four phases of the film, there’s a chance to see him interact with the original Avengers team, including Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark and Chris Evans’ Captain America.
My friend Shawn Levi is directing the film and the confirmed cast includes Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Emma Corrin in the role of Cassandra Nova, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic like Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen as a TVA agent e Leslie Uggam in the role of blind Al.
They are united by Brianna Hildebrand AND Shioli Kutsuna, who will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio. This had already been confirmed Jennifer Garner she will return as Elektra in the film.
Deadpool and Wolverine hits theaters July 26th!
