Jennifer Lawrence is set to star in a murder mystery film titled The wiveswhich is said in the vein of The Real Housewives. Lawrence “will be able to fight, day drink and access oodles of disposable income, at least until a body turns up.”
The project was started at Apple Original Films, and apparently several other studios were looking to get their hands on it.
The wives will be written by Michael Breslin AND Patrick Foleywho are behind the show Circle idiotwhich was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
Lawrence will also produce the film, which is co-produced by Apple Studios and A24, who previously worked together on Lawrence’s 2022 film. Causeway.
There are no other details to share about the project or what the story will entail, but it seems like the kind of project Lawrence would fit right into.
