Savage Adam shared a video on Tested this week of him visiting Star Wars master sculptor Tony McVey’s workshop.
McVey is the concept artist behind characters like Salacious Crumb from Star Wars and also sculpted the conceptual maquette of Grogu during the production of The Mandalorian.
Tony gives Adam a tour of his shop, filled with both current projects and artifacts from his storied career working on some of our favorite films.
I love this kind of thing. I love all the artistic aspects that go into making these kinds of amazing films and shows that we enjoy watching.
I’ve always wanted to be able to do stuff like that, but I’ve never had those damn cool artistic skills. I really appreciate these things and I hope you enjoy this video!
