Warner Bros. has announced a new Scooby-Doo animated series coming to Cartoon Network titled Go-Go Mystery Machine.
This will be an anime inspired series that will follow the gang as they make their way to Japan! In the series, “While visiting Japan for the ultimate food adventure, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo unintentionally unleash hundreds of mischievous mythical monsters who are now causing trouble across the country.
“Scooby turns to his uncle, Daisuke-Doo, magical friend Etsuko, and gadget wizard Toshiro to help him solve the mystery and capture the monsters.
Stacey Kim, vice president of series at Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios, said in a statement: “We’ve seen many iterations of ‘Scooby’ over the years, but nothing quite like this one. This is ‘Scooby’ doing anime.”
This could be an incredibly fun show! I can easily see Scooby’s potential in a wild and crazy anime adventure! It seems like anime could be a great fit for this property and I can’t wait to see what comes of it.
