Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for its heist thriller The instigators. The film follows two thieves who have to escape with the help of one of their therapists after a robbery goes wrong, and the film looks like a blast!
The film comes from the director Doug Liman (The Bourne identity, Edge of tomorrow) and get started Matt Damon AND Casey Affleck, both protagonists of the Oceans trilogy. The trailer teases the film’s fun story, and as you’ll see, it’ll also be packed with great action.
The synopsis reads: “Rory (Damon) and Cobby (Affleck) are reluctant partners: a desperate father and an ex-con brought together to steal a corrupt politician’s ill-gotten gains.
“But when the robbery goes awry, the two find themselves engulfed in a vortex of chaos, hounded not only by the police but also by backwater bureaucrats and vengeful crime bosses.
“Completely out of the ordinary, they convince Rory’s therapist (Hong Chau) to join their rebellious escape across the city, where they must put aside their differences and work together to evade capture – or worse.”
The film is also the protagonist Michael Stuhlbarg, Paolo Walter Hauser, Ving Rames, Alfredo Molina AND Toby Joneswith Jack Harlow AND Ron Perlmann.
The Instigators will be released on August 9th.
