Zack Snyder revealed his titles Rebel moon extended cut films and are completely different from the original titles.
The extended version of Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire will be titled Rebel Moon: Chapter One – Chalice of Blood.
The extended version of Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver will be titled Rebel Moon: Chapter Two: The Curse of Forgiveness.
It’s interesting and unique that they gave the films completely different titles. I imagine that giving the films different titles will separate the longer, more violent, R-rated versions from the earlier films already released.
It was also announced that both films will be released on Netflix on August 2nd. The two films will last a total of six hours, which is a long time to watch poorly written films. Many people I know couldn’t even make it through the first 20 minutes of the first film.
Speaking about the films, Snyder said: “It’s perhaps a more immersive experience. I care that people see it that way. He’s very adult, he’s very R-rated. Deborah Snyder added, “You get more character. You get a lot more of everything. It’s not just some deleted scenes.”
In the first film, a ragtag group of rebels rises up to fight against a giant, evil empire. It is set in a “peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy that finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical regent Balisarius.
“They have sent a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them make a stand against the Tyrant.”
The sequel “continues the epic saga of Kora (Sofia Boutella) and the surviving warriors as they prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting alongside the brave inhabitants of the Veldt, to defend a once peaceful village, home to those who have lost all they had in the fight against Mother Earth.
“On the eve of battle, warriors must face the truths of their past, each revealing why they fight. As the full force of the Kingdom bears down on the growing rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, great heroes emerge and legends are born…”
