I have a trailer here to look out for and the upcoming true crime documentary film titled The highway murders.
The docudrama tells the story of the unsolved murders that took the lives of four teenagers who worked at a hamburger restaurant in 1978.
In the small town of Speedway, Indianapolis, four employees of a Burger Chef restaurant went missing at the end of their shift on Friday evening. “The police initially suspected a small theft by the workers.
“By the time their bodies were found on Sunday and the investigation led to multiple homicides, the crime scene had been cleaned up and the restaurant had reopened to the public.”
The project was “crafted through extraordinary re-enactments and tense witness interviews, Speedway uncovers mishandled evidence and wild revelations that satisfy the most insatiable appetite for true crime.”
The Speedway Murders is co-directed by the filmmakers Adam Kamien AND Luca Ryndermannin their directorial debut.
The film premiered at the 2023 Adelaide Film Festival last year and will next screen at the 2024 New Zealand Film Festival. It will also be released in Australian cinemas later in 2024.
