Succession is over, and the Golden Globe and Emmy winning actress Sarah Snook has planned his next project with the Peacock thriller series It’s all his faultof which she will star and executive produce.
Snook will take on the lead role of “Marissa.” Megan Gallagher (Wolf, Suspected) is the writer, creator and executive producer of the project adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name by Andrea Mara.
It’s all his fault opens on a plausibly terrifying situation that ultimately brings to light a community’s deep secrets. Marissa Irvine arrives at 14 Arthur Avenue, expecting to pick up her young son Milo from his first date with a boy at her new school.
But the woman who opens the door is not a mother he recognizes. She is not her nanny. She doesn’t have Milo. And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare.
Minkie Spiro (3 Body problem, Downton Abbey) will direct the first episode, among others, and will serve as executive producer. EPs also include Nigel Marchant, Gareth Neame and Joanna Strevens for Carnival Films (The day of the jackal, Lockerbie), Jennifer Gabler Rawlings and Christine A. Sacani, producer Terry Gould, and associate producer Andrea Mara, who wrote the novel It’s all his fault. The studio is Universal International Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group.
Snook was recently seen on stage at London’s Theater Royal Haymarket in the West End in the award-winning play. The Picture of Dorian Gray. For her performance, she was awarded an Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Play.
