Behind it is the team of directors Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is in the process of building his own fairytale horror universe, including other projects like Bambi: The Showdown, Pinocchio: without stringsAND Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare.
Today we have a preview photo to share with you Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmarewhich presents Peter as a twisted, scarred and deranged man.
The film follows ‘Wendy Darling as she strikes out to save her brother Michael from the clutches of the evil Peter Pan.’ Along the way she meets Tink, who in this twisted version of the story will be seen taking heroin, convinced that she is pixie dust.
The film is directed by Scott Jeffrey, who said in a statement: “I am taking inspiration from French cinema while preparing this film. The film will be incredibly tense. I would say it’s a mix between Switchblade Romance and The Black Phone with our interpretation. It’s an ugly, violent and incredibly dark film.”
Movie stars Megan Placito as Wendy Darling, Green Kit in the role of Tinkerbell, Peter DeSouza-Feighoney (The Pope’s exorcist) as Michael Darling, and Charity Kase like James. Martin Portlock will play this dark and disturbed version of Peter Pan.
The film is scheduled for release on Halloween 2024.
