Top Gun 3 is officially moving forward Tom Cruise and director Joseph Kosinski ready for the return. They will also join Mavericks‘S Miles Teller AND Glen Powell as well as the producers Jerry Bruckheimer AND David Ellison.
There’s also a story going on and, speaking about it previously, Bruckheimer said: “We spent time with him. We have a story. Joe Kosinski had a wonderful idea for the story, and he [Tom Cruise] I said I really like it, so we’re developing it.”
The manufacturer has now offered an update on the project, and while it’s in development, it’s nowhere near ready for production.
During an interview with GamesRadar, Bruckheimer was asked how the project is going and whether he has had any conversations with Cruise. He replied: “We had preliminary things. We’re not there yet. [There’s] ways to go.”
I have mixed feelings about over a third Top Gun movie. Top Gun: nonconformist it was so good and strong that it will be a difficult film to top.
I don’t care that they’re taking their time and not rushing to release a sequel. The creative team knows that if they do this, they will have to knock it out of the park.
