Shark movies continue to be all the rage right now, and another one is in development at Sony Pictures Dead snow AND Violent night director Tommy Wirkola put at the helm.
The lead will be the untitled shark thriller Phoebe Dynevor (Correctness) and production will begin in Australia this summer. Adam McKay he is also a producer on the project.
There are no story details to share, but it’s safe to assume that it will involve a shark killing people who have found themselves at the mercy of the ocean.
Hopefully Wirkola does something different and unique that hasn’t already been done with shark movies.
Dynevor has several film projects lined up, including a short film titled More flamesfrom McKay’s Yellow Dot Studios and Climate Spring.
Dynevor will be seen in the spy film Inheritance by the director Neil Burger (Divergent, The Illusionist) AND Anniversarywho is also the protagonist Diane Lane, Zoey German, McKenna Grace, Dylan O’Brien AND Kyle Chandler.
