This week’s retro trailer for director William Friedkin’s 1977 suspense thriller Sorcerer. Over the years I have met many people who have never seen this movie, including many movie buffs, so I am sharing this trailer to spread the word to watch this movie!
This is a tense and bloody thriller that follows four desperate men from different corners of the world, each with a dark past, who find themselves in a remote South American village.
To escape their dire circumstances, they agree to transport a highly volatile cargo of nitroglycerin across treacherous terrain. As they traverse dangerous jungles they also deal with their own personal demons.
Sorcerer features a strong cast, including Roy Scheider as Jackie Scanlon (aka Juan Dominguez), Bruno Cremer in the role of Victor Manzon (aka Serrano), Francesco Rabal like Nile, and Amidou like Kassem (aka Martinez).
Sorcerer is a gripping film that portrays a group of men pushed to their limits. Enjoy the trailer!
