Sony Pictures has released the final trailer for Bad Boys: Ride or Die and highlights some of the big, explosive action sequences the film will deliver.

Will Smith AND Martin Lorenzo return as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, and the two detectives find themselves caught up in a cartel conspiracy and find themselves on the run.

Lowrey and Burnett are tasked with clearing Captain Howard’s name, but when they begin the mission, it seems they too are being framed. They then flee while trying to survive and clear their names.

It’s a messy, intense situation, but they still manage to joke about how disgusting black gummy candies taste.

The film is also the protagonist Vanessa Hudgens, Alessandro Ludovico, Paola Núñez, Tasha Smith, John Salley, Eric Dane, DJ Khaled, Ioan Gruffudd, Rhea Seehorn, Joyner LucasAND Quinn Hemphill.

The film is directed by Adil El Arbi AND Bilall Fallahand they had previously talked about the film saying: “With Jerry Bruckheimer [high-profile producer] movies, we always tend to think about all the action and crazy explosions. But in reality, the characters in his films are the reason audiences love watching them.

“So, we went further and deeper on those character moments. But everything we learned, in terms of camera movements and direction on set, we tried to push ourselves and go even further.

“Sometimes we had some quirky moments and shots that we didn’t try in the last one because maybe it was a little more classic. This time, we’re going funkier and more loco.”

Smith also spoke about the film, saying, “In Ride Or Die we’re doing some really aggressive creative shots. We wanted to push the limits of how much life experience and age specificity you can put into these films.

“With this film we were very aggressive in extending what you can do in a summer action movie. There’s a spiritual aspect to this and I think people will say, ‘Okay, that’s an interesting evolution for Marcus’ character.’”

The film is directed by Adil El Arbi AND Bilall Fallah and will be released on June 14, 2024.
