A new report has surfaced claiming that Marvel has given the green light Hawk eye Season 2 and some possible plot details have even been shared.
The news comes from an anonymous scooper @MyTimeToShineHwhich says: “Hawkeye has been renewed for a second season.”
They go on to share some details about the story, saying, “Clint’s brother Barney will play an important role and the season will be inspired by The raidwith Kate and Clint stuck in the same place.”
I love the idea of a Hawkeye-inspired story The raid, and it’s easy to imagine how fantastical, intense and action-packed that story could be! I hope this rumor becomes true, but only time will tell.
Telling this type of story, set in a single location, is also a way for the studio to keep the budget down. Dredd is another great example of a story concept like this.
I assume this series happens Jeremy Renner AND Hailee Steinfeld they will return to reprise their roles as Clint Barton and Kate Bishop. Renner has made it clear that she would like to play Hawkeye again, even after the fatal snowplow accident.
Renner previously expressed his excitement about a potential return to the MCU, saying, “I’m always ready. I’ll be strong enough, that’s for sure. I’ll be ready. All those guys come to my bedside and them.” they’ve been with me through this whole recovery period, so… if they want me, they could have me. That would be something.”
Steinfeld had also previously said that she was looking forward to returning to the role of Kate Bishop, saying: “Of course I’m shaking, it’s been a minute. It’s always so funny because I feel like a few months can go by and I feel like I hadn’t done anything, you know what I mean? “It’s been so long since…”
“And it’s been a while since Dickinson ended and Hawkeye came out. I’m so ready to get back to it, I can’t wait to be on set again with people who do what I do and love what we do. I had such a sense of belonging when I was on set and a sense of home and I love it. It’s been a while, so I’m shaking a lot.”
