Director Harmony Korine’s AGGRO DR1FT Film Trailer Told “Through the Vernacular of Video Games”

Director Korine Harmony (Gummo, Spring Break) has made another new film with a crazy title Aggro Dr1ft and we have a trailer to watch.

The film is said to break away from the traditional parameters of cinema and “explore the onslaught of digital ephemera and interrogate modern life through the vernacular of video games.”

The film is shot entirely through an infrared lens and the story follows “a Miami Beach hitman as he embarks on a relentless pursuit of his next target.”

This is the first film from Korine’s new multimedia design collective EDGLRD, “jump headfirst into the mad abyss of infrared vapor wave cinema as a tortured Miami-based assassin hunts down his greatest target: a lord of crime winged by a demon”.

Korine is known for the unique and unusual films he makes; this is definitely an experimental and different kind of film.

The film will be screened in selected theaters from May 10th to 18th.
