Searchlight Pictures has released the first poster for Amay Adams’ upcoming horror comedy Night time bitchwhich comes with the tagline “Motherhood is a bitch.”
The film is based on the best-selling book, which tells the story “of a suburban mom caught up in the stay-at-home routine of raising a child.
“As she embraces the fierce power deeply rooted in motherhood, she becomes increasingly aware of the bizarre and undeniable signs that could indicate she might turn into a dog.”
Scoot McNairy (Argon, Narcos: Mexico) also stars in the film as Adams’ often traveling husband. Marielle Heller (Can you ever forgive me?) directs from his own screenplay, adapted from Rachel Yoderhis debut novel.
Speaking about Adams’ performance in the film, the director told IndieWire: “It’s incredible, I mean we all know Amy Adams is incredible. She has been nominated for one million Academy Awards.
“She’s amazing, but she’s really special in this movie and I’m really excited for the world to see her. It’s something you’ve never seen from her before. It’s fierce and funny and dark and complicated and it’s beautiful.
Night time bitch will stream on Disney DTC platforms such as Hulu Original in the US, with further release plans to be announced.
