The STAR WARS: SKELETON CREW series starring Jude Law will arrive on Disney+ later this Christmas

THE Star Wars series Skeleton crewcreated by Jon Watts AND Christopher Fordhas finally been granted a release window, and fans can expect to watch the Disney+ series in late December, right around Christmas time.

The show is set during the New Republic era and has been described as “a galactic version of the classic 1980s Amblin coming-of-age adventure films”.

The story will follow four kids from a tiny planet who end up lost in the world Star Wars galaxy and embark on a journey to find their way home.

The film was presented to Lucasfilm as “The Goonies In Star Wars“, and it was explained that although the series stars four children, it is “not a children’s show.” The adventure they find themselves on is said to be an intense and dark journey.

The cast includes Jude Law, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Robert Timothy Smith, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry CondonAND Jaleel White. No character names were revealed, but we know that Law plays a character who helps bring the children home using the Force.
