Here is a trailer for an interesting upcoming horror film titled The coffee tablecentered around demonic furniture killing people.
Haunted furniture isn’t a new topic, but this is the first movie I’ve heard of that centers around a haunted coffee table! It seems like it would make a great comedy horror film, but this is a “pitch black” horror film.
At the same time it is described as “a disturbing descent into madness and absolute misery” and also “incredibly funny until it isn’t at all”. So…he’s charming.
In the movie, “David Pareja (Amigo) e Estefanía de los Santos (Jaulas) delivers extraordinarily brilliant performances as Jesus and María, a couple who are going through a difficult time in their relationship following the recent arrival of their newborn son.”
The fiery couple “are struggling with the pressures that a new baby brings with it, and their arguments only amplify during a shopping trip to purchase furniture that is about to change their lives forever. What begins as a simple disagreement over which coffee table to buy quickly turns into a shocking and tragic event that will destroy their lives.”
The film is directed by director Caye Casas and is currently available on VOD in the United States.
