Keanu Reeves is in talks to star in a movie about the plane crash titled The entertainment system is inactivewhich will be directed by the two-time Palme d’Or winner Ruben Ostlund (Triangle of sadness).
The film has been described as a “social satire set on a long-haul flight on which the entertainment system fails, sparking chaos and anger among the passengers.”
Yes, that’s something I could actually see happening in today’s society. Reeves will be part of an ensemble cast that will include several international stars.
Speaking previously about the project, the director said the film will be “a study of how humans interact in this little laboratory that is an airplane” and will “look at how modern humans are destroyed in these circumstances.”
He went on to say that he hopes the film causes the biggest strike in the history of the Cannes Film Festival. So, she’ll choose something completely shocking, crazy and full of wicked humor. It should be fun!
The entertainment system is inactive it is said to be Östlund’s most ambitious film to date.
