I was curious to see this sequel and wondered what the story would entail after the crazy and bloody events of the first film.
The directors, Tyler Gillett, Matt Bettinelli-Olpinand their manufacturing partner Chad Villellahave offered an update on the project, saying the script is ready and it’s a “f–king banger.”
In an interview with Entertainment weeklyGillet said: “We are trying to understand. This is what we will say: Ready or not 2 it is being discovered. What we can say is that there is a script that is an absolutely exceptional sequel.”
The first film was a huge success and set the bar pretty high. But the creative team seems to think the script they have for the sequel is strong. It will be fun to see where they take the story next!
