During Warner Bros.’ presentation at CinemaCon 2024, director George Miller showed some extended footage from Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga!

Movie stars Anya Taylor-Gioia like Furiosa, and Chris Hemsworth he is the warlord Dementus.
In the film, “As the world fell apart, young Furiosa is kidnapped from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a large horde of bikers led by Warlord Dementus. Traveling through the Wasteland they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe As the two Tyrants battle for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she marshals the means to find her way home.
Miller has already spoken about the film and revealed that the story takes place over the course of 15-18 years and that it leads directly to the events of Mad Max: Road Fury.
Miller continued, “It’s a different animal. It has many different positions. It’s an odyssey. No questions asked.” As for a possible appearance by Max Rockatansky himself, Miller said: “I won’t give too much away about it. All I’ll say is that Max is lurking in the background.”
The cast includes Tom Burke, Angus Sampson, Nathan Jones, Daniel Webber, Lachy HulmeAND Quaden Bayles.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga will be released in theaters on May 24, 2024.
