Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming third season of their drama series Bridgertoncharacterized Nicola Coughlin AND Luke Newtonat the forefront of the story, as their characters’ friendship slowly turns into full-blown passion.
Bridgerton The third season will include a total of eight episodes divided into two parts. The first four episodes will premiere on May 16, while the next four will debut on June 13.
Bridgerton is based on Julia Quinn’s Best-selling romance book series. The first season featured the romance between Daphne and her husband, Simon, the Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page).
Season 2 followed the enemies-lovers theme as it followed the romance between Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley).
The new episodes of the Shondaland series will shift the focus to Colin and Penelope. The official synopsis for Netflix’s third season reads: “Penelope enters season three finally ready to give up her longtime crush on Colin. However, that doesn’t mean she’s done with love. Instead, Penelope has decided it’s time to get a husband, and preferably one who gives her the freedom to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown, away from the prying eyes of her mother and sisters.
Daniele Francesco (Stay close), Sam Phillips (The crown), AND James Phoon (Wreck) are coming together Bridgerton for its final season. Watch the trailer below:
