Fantastic poster for Don Bluth’s animated classic THE LAND BEFORE TIME by artist Izzy Burton

This past weekend I picked up a great poster art from Spoke-Art at Wonder-Con for the director Don Bluththe classic 1988 animated film, The land before time. This poster was beautifully created by artist Izzy Burton who captures the soul of the film beautifully.

This was one of my favorite movies when I was little and every time I watch it, the movie brings out the emotions in me. If you’ve never seen this movie, or haven’t watched it in a while, it’s definitely worth seeing again. The artist shared in a statement:

Eeeek! My second collaboration with @spoke_art “The Land Before Time” will be released exclusively at @wondercon this weekend! 🦖It’s a limited edition 24″ x 36″ archival pigment print. Added AR functionality because that’s me and I like to add additional animation artist pizazz. 🦕I’m immensely proud of how it turned out because it was a tough task and I really took my time to make it the best (I’m usually very impatient), but guys, it’s still a surprise when everything works out just right 😂 Let me know if can you get one because it will make my heart happy. If you can’t make it in person, advanced prints will be available Thursday, April 4 at 10 a.m. PT on the Spoke Art website.

The land before time is a beloved animated adventure film and tells the heartwarming story of a young apatosaurus named Littlefoot, who, after being orphaned, embarks on a perilous journey to find the legendary Great Valley, a place said to be free from famine and devastation that struck his homeland. Along the way, Littlefoot is joined by a diverse group of young dinosaurs, including Cera, Ducky, Petrie, and Spike, who, despite their differences, become close friends and learn valuable lessons about teamwork, courage, and perseverance.

The film is set in a setting of prehistoric challenges and also has a beautiful and memorable soundtrack.

The poster is a limited edition of only 100 prints.
