New Line Cinema has announced the cast of its next film Final destination movie, Final destination: Stirpi. That cast is led by Star girl actress Brec Bassingerand she is joined by Teo Briones (Chucky) AND Kaitlyn Santa Juana (Dear Evan Hansen).
Other cast members include Richard Harmon (The 100), Anna Lore (The Knights of Gotham), Owen Patrick Joyner (Julie and the ghosts), Max Lloyd-Jones (The Boba Fett book), Rya Kihlstedt (Obi-Wan Kenobi) AND Tinpo Lee (The manor).
The film is directed by Zach Lipovsky AND Adam B. Stein (Strange) AND Spider-Man: No Way Home director Jon Watts is producing.
Franchise creator Jeffrey Reddick he previously offered an interesting preview of the film last year, saying:
“This movie dives into the movie in such a unique way that attacks it from a different angle, so you don’t feel like, ‘Oh, there’s a cool setup and then there’s going to be a wrinkle that can potentially save everything you’ve got. .” I have to make a moral choice or take action to resolve it.’ There is an expansion of the universe that I am very careful about.
“It kind of brings out a deep layer of the story that, yeah, makes it really, really interesting.”
He added that they will change things up a lot as the story won’t involve the formula that the franchise beat to death in the first five films.
“I will say that it won’t be just another kind of ‘let’s create a group of people, they cheat death, and then only death gets them.’ And there’s a feature that we’ve added to each movie to change it up a little bit: This is… a real Final Destination movie, but it doesn’t follow that kind of formula that we’ve established. .”
The new film will be released in 2025, marking the 25th anniversary of the original.
