Here’s a trailer for a small town indie crime thriller titled Blood for dust. The film is described as “Breaking Bad meets Fargo” and stars Scoot McNairy AND Kit Harrington. This looks like it could be a pretty decent movie worth checking out.
McNairy plays Cliff in the film, “a former salesman with a checkered past, who “is drawn back into a life of crime after losing his job. Desperate to keep his family afloat, lured by his old colleague, Ricky (Harington), into drug and gun trafficking for a cartel. As Cliff digs deeper, his once straightforward life turns into a high-stakes game of survival in this gripping thriller.
Blood for dust is directed by the director Rod Blackhurst, a former skier turned filmmaker, who previously directed Here Alone and the documentary Amanda Knox. The film also has an impressive supporting cast including Nora Zehetne, Ethan Suplee, Amber Rose Mason, Stephen DorffAND Josh Lucas.
The Avenue will release Blood for dust in select theaters and on VOD starting April 19, 2024.
