Netflix’s live-action adaptation A piece it was a really great series, it was a great adaptation that actually improved on the source material in many ways. But one of the things that made the series work so well was its star Inaki Godoy, who played the main character Monkey D. Luffy. He was so damn delicious!
Well, during a recent interview with Teen Vogue, Godoy said he’s ready to play Luffy for years to come, saying, “I can do it.” A piece for many years and I can be happy and I don’t need to do a million things.
The actor went on to say that there is one role he is eager to explore. Godoy would like to play someone who is completely opposite to Luffy. He said: “[I’d like to play] someone who is horrible and loves being horrible.
You know, as charming and adorable as this actor is as Luffy, I can really imagine him playing some kind of crazy, sinister villain. I can see him shifting that energy that he has into something evil. In the meantime, I enjoy him as the hero A piece!
We don’t know when we’ll see it A piece Season 2, but fans are excited to see this amazing story continue.
A piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy (Inaki Godoy) and his pirate crew as they explore a fantasy world of endless oceans and exotic islands in search of the world’s greatest treasure known as “One Piece” to become the next Pirate King. Other main characters include Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero Gibson) and Sanji (Taz Skylar).
