Rebecca Ferguson (Doctor Sleep, Dune) came on board the board of directors Timur Bekmambetovis the next sci-fi thriller Mercy. He joins the previous cast Chris Pratt, and Amazon MGM Studios has high expectations for the film. Ferguson will definitely be a great addition to the project! She is big.
The film is set in the near future “when capital crimes have increased, Mercy follows a detective (Pratt) accused of a violent crime and forced to prove his innocence.
Jennifer Salkethe head of Amazon MGM Studios had previously spoken about the series, saying: “From the moment Chuck Roven brought us Mercy and we read Marco van Belle’s screenplay, we knew the film was destined for the big screen. We couldn’t imagine a better star and filmmaking team to execute and deliver what is sure to be a gripping thrill ride and we can’t wait for audiences to experience it in theaters.”

The film was written by Marco van Belle (Arthur and Merlin), and production on the film will begin in the spring.
