Cameron Diaz is in talks to star alongside him Keanu Reeves in the director Jonah Hillthe next movie Result. The film is a dark comedy picked up by Apple Original Films. Hill will not only direct, but also star in the film.
The story follows Reef (Reeves), “a damaged Hollywood star who must dive into the dark depths of his past to face his demons and make amends after a mysterious video clip is extorted from him.”
It feels like a very different kind of movie for everyone involved and I’m curious to see how it turns out. The film was co-written by Hill and Ezra Woods.
As you know, Diaz took a long break from acting and is making a strong comeback. She last appeared in the 2014 remake of Annie and will next appear in the Netflix action comedy Back in action protagonist in front Jamie Foxx by the end of the year, e Result will score another role for her. It’s nice to see her come back to acting after all these years. She has made some great films over the course of her career.
