Scream! Studios has released the trailer for a new slasher horror film titled Model house, which is described as “a potent blend of terror, suspense and home invasion genres.” The film centers on a group of swimsuit models who are attacked in an isolated house.
Model House follows five swimsuit models who run a profitable swimsuit campaign at a waterfall one hundred miles north of Los Angeles. “The client hosted them in a secluded house for the weekend, which in the fashion industry is called a “model house.” Over the course of the first night, the models document almost every move, including their vulnerable position for their millions of followers on social media. Before they know it, two intruders break into the house.”
Held at gunpoint, “the girls are forced to post a fake donation link on their social media pages until $1 million is stolen from their followers. Quickly realizing that their lives are at risk, the models take matters into their own hands and fight back.
Scream! shared in a statement, “This highly anticipated thrilling thriller is written and directed by the filmmaker Derek Pikewho has directed over 100 music videos for famous artists, including Wiz Khalifa, Aloe Blacc, XXXTentacion and other notables.
Movie stars Taylor-Compton Explorer, Chris Zylka, Cory Anne Roberts, Kyra Santoro, Hailee Lautenbach, Priscilla Huggins Ortiz, Natalie NootenboomAND Filippo Andrea Botello.
Scream! The studios will release Model house in select theaters and digitally on April 5.
