Steven Spielberg he has made many incredible films over the course of his long career as a director. He’s one of my favorite directors of all time and his 1982 film ET: The Extraterrestrial It’s the film that made me fall in love with cinema. He is the reason I do what I do!
During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Spielberg revealed what film he believes is the best film he’s ever made, and that film is the 1993 Holocaust drama Schindler’s List. He explained:
“It’s the best movie I’ve ever made. I’m not going to say it’s the best movie I’ve ever made Want Do. But it’s currently the work I’m most proud of.”
Schindler’s List stars Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes and Ben Kingsley and tells the true story of Oskar Schindler, who saved over 1,000 Jews during World War II. The film ended up winning seven Oscars, including Best Picture.
It’s not hard to see why he says Schindler’s List is the best film he’s made so far. I still remember the first time I watched it. I was a young teenager and had never seen anything like it before. The emotions I felt were so overwhelming. I was feeling these violent emotions that I had never felt before as a 14-15 year old. The film changed the way I looked at the world.
Some Spielberg films have had a great impact on my life. Another film that had a great effect on me was his 1987 film, empire of the sun.
