Academy Award winning actress Meryl Streep will return for season 4 of the hit murder mystery comedy series Only murders in the building to Hulu. Streep will reprise her recurring role of Loretta Durkin, which she began playing in the third season of the Hulu series. The character starred in Oliver (Martino Corto) Broadway show in the most recent season, with the two having been romantically involved.
Created by Steve Martin AND John Hoffmann“Only Murders in the Building” follows Charles Haden-Savage (Martin), Oliver Putnam (Short) and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), three neighbors in a New York apartment called Arconia, who band together to record a true crime podcast about the murders of their fellow citizens, for which they are continually being framed.
Exact plot details for season four are being kept under wraps, although it is known that the season will begin with the main trio taking a trip to Los Angeles before returning to New York.
Streep is the latest cast member confirmed for season 4, featuring Molly Shannon she recently joined the series as a “powerful Los Angeles businesswoman.”
Season 4 of Only murders in the building will be released later this year.
