Marvel Studios has released an official Valentine’s Day promotional image Fantastic 4 and confirms the cast… Pedro Pasquale (The last of us) as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible: Showdown) as Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman; Joseph Quinn (Stranger things) as Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch; AND Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Punisher, The Bear) as Ben Grimm, aka The Thing.
We also have a retro style logo for the movie. In fact, everything we see here has a retro ’60s vibe, meaning this movie might actually be set in the ’60s, which I was hoping for! This is exactly the right direction to take this franchise! I really hope that these retro designs aren’t just for show and that the movie is actually a 60’s period film. It will be funny!
Fantastic Four will be directed by Matt Shakman (WandaVision) from a screenplay by Josh Friedmanwho was brought in to rewrite the script originally written by Jeff Kaplan AND Ian Springer.
Fantastic Four will be released in theaters on July 25, 2025, two weeks later Superman: Legacy comes to the big screen.
