Demi Moore (Ghost, Few good men) joined the cast of Taylor Sheridan’S (Yellowstone) next series, Landman. Sheridan is creating the series with the podcaster Christian Wallacewho hosted the series Boomtownon which this Paramount+ show is based.
Moore will play the series regular role of Cami, wife of one of Texas’ most powerful oilmen and friend of Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton).
Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, Landman is a modern story of finding fortune in the world of oil rigs. Based on the 11-part podcast Boomtownthe series is an upstairs-downstairs story of thugs and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big it’s reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics.
In addition to Thornton and Moore, Landman stars Ali Larter (The latest victim), Michelle Randolph (1923), Jacob Lofland (Joker 2), Kayla Wallace (When it calls the heart), Giacomo Giordano (Yellowstone), Marco Collie (Nashville) AND Paulina Chavez (The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia).
Moore can be seen in the second season of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series Feud: Capote vs. The Swans as socialite Ann Woodward, a former radio showgirl and actress who was infamously accused of murdering her husband in 1955. She also stars in Coralie Fargeat’s first studio feature, The substancenext to Margaret Qualley.
Landman is currently filming in and around Fort Worth, Texas.
