The first trailer for a horror thriller film featuring underground found footage titled has been released Frogman. It seems like a strange film and follows three friends who go on a journey to prove the existence of the Loveland Frogman and discover that the Frogman is more than just a local legend.
In the summer of 1999, “a 12-year-old named Dallas Kyle captured footage of the mythical Frogman, but no one believed he was real. Now, twenty years later, Dallas, now an amateur filmmaker struggling to turn his passion into a career, returns to Loveland with his two friends Amy and Scotty determined to obtain irrefutable proof of the Frogman’s existence. But what begins as an innocent documentary soon turns into a Lovecraftian nightmare as Dallas uncovers the horrifying secrets hidden beneath Loveland’s idyllic surface.
The film was directed by Anthony Cousins and stars Nathan Tymoshuk, Chelsey Grant, Benny BarrettAND Justin Jones. The film is said to have “impressive creature effects,” but none of that is seen in this trailer. In this review it says that “the more humans invade Frogman’s territory, the more delightfully weird and gnarlier things get.”
Rotting Press will release Frogman on VHS on February 9, 2024, then on VOD to watch starting March 8. Yes, it will be released on VHS!
