A trailer has been released for the father/daughter road trip drama bleeding Loveby the director Emma Westenberg (Arms of strangers). The film stars a real-life father and daughter Ewan McGregor (Star Wars, Big fish, Fargo) AND Clara McGregor (The birthday cake, American horror story), and the screenplay was written by Ruby Casterbased on a story he developed with Vera Bulder AND Clara McGregor.
From the manufacturers of Past lives AND May December, the trailer showcases a family drama about addiction, reconnection and healing. Aside from McGregors playing father and daughter on screen, the film also stars Kim Zimmer, Devyn McDowell, Sasha Alexander, Jake tiredAND Vera Bulder.
The official synopsis reads:
“Starring real-life father and daughter Ewan and Clara McGregor, Bleeding Love is a raw and emotional story about healing family wounds through reconnection. After a dramatic incident in her life, a young woman (Clara) goes on an impromptu road trip with her estranged father (Ewan). While traveling to their destination in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the two are forced to face the issues from their past that led to their fragile relationship, meeting an eccentric array of characters along the way in order to bring them closer. Still.”
