HAPPY DAY OF DEATH Director Christopher Landon to direct werewolf film BIG BAD

Happy Death Day AND Capricious director Christopher Landon is set to direct a new werewolf film titled Big bad. The film is set at Lionsgate and is based on a short story by Chandler Bakerwho will also write the film’s screenplay.

Landon was previously attached to direct Scream VIIbut the project ended up falling apart and the director ended up abandoning it Melissa Barrara was fired and Jenna Ortega abandoned.

The story “Big Bad” is part of the anthology novel Creature characteristic. In the story, “The Strauss family is on a razor’s edge. Sam is a resentful, stay-at-home father. Rachel feels the restlessness return to her blood. Their children are getting out of hand. And a recent mudslide forced wolves out of the woods in search of food. As dusk falls and tensions rise, the family must come together to survive the night, from external to internal threats.”

Landon has made some fun horror films and it will be fun to see what he ends up doing with this werewolf horror film. With Landon at the helm, I have no doubt we will have fun!

Todd Liebermann and Hidden Pictures will produce alongside Landon.
