The Marvel animated series What if…? is on the right track, having just wrapped up its well-received second season, and eagerly awaiting the events of season 3. The fun part of What if…? it’s that we never know what will happen next, because every scenario is imagined. But we may have figured out a piece of the Season 3 plot, thanks to a trusted industry scooper.
There has been talk for some time that a Spider-Man villain will appear on the show, and if scooper @CanWeGetToast you can believe that the villain will be Quentin Beck, aka the evil Mysterio, played by Jake Gyllenhaal In Spider-Man: Far From Home.
No further information was revealed, but What if…? director Bryan Andrews says they are studying season 3 and we should see it in late 2024/early 2025. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently airing on Disney+.
