Franco Grillo has a new action thriller coming out called Lights off and the first trailer for the film has been released. Grillo plays a stranded ex-soldier who becomes an underground fighter with the help of a recently released ex-convict. As you’ll see, they find themselves facing corrupt cops and hitmen who are hunting them and everyone they care about.
In Lights off“a homeless veteran, Michael “Duffy” Duffield (Grillo), meets a talkative ex-con, Max Bomer (Mekhi Phifer) who notices Duffy’s skills after he gets into a bar fight and offers him a high-paying “job” competing in underground wrestling. The two form an unlikely partnership after their first fight and decide to travel to Los Angeles so Duffy can atone for his past and Max can pay off a crime boss, Sage Parker.Dermot Mulroney). Duffy joins Sage’s Fight Club and eventually wins, but it also draws him into the world of crime and offers him jobs he can’t refuse, including one with Sage’s partner and police officer, Ellen Ridgway. James King). The further Duffy delves into this world, the more deadly he becomes.”
The film was directed by Cristiano Sesma and the film is also the protagonist Scott Adkins, Amaury Nolasco, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, Erica Peeples, Juju Chan Szeto, Paul Sloan, Justin FurstenfeldAND Kevin Gage.
