The last of us AND The Mandalorian star Pedro Pasquale was supposed to star in a new upcoming horror film titled Weaponswhere it comes from Zach Creggerthe director of Barbarian. I was excited to see the actor in that movie, but unfortunately he had to drop out due to his commitment to Marvel Studios Fantastic Four.
This news comes from entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider as Fantastic Four’Production was moved to the second half of 2024, which created the scheduling conflict with Weapons. Marvel has yet to confirm that Pascal has been cast as Reed Richards, but they have.
Not much is known about Weapons, but the story is described as “an interconnected multi-story horror epic focusing on witchcraft and missing children.” The film is also said to be “tonally in the vein of Magnolia, director Paul Thomas Anderson’s star-studded 1999 film.”
It will be interesting to see who Cregger chooses to replace Pascal in his film.
