Netflix has released a new trailer for Kevin Smith’S Masters of the Universe: Revolution animated series. The series continues the epic tale that follows He-Man and Skeletor as they battle across Eternia. This is a fantastic trailer and what makes it really pop is the use of Joe Esposito’s classic 80’s anthem “You’re The Best”. It’s going to be an exciting season!
Masters of the Universe: Revolution serves as a direct sequel to the 2021 Netflix series Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which continued the story of the original He-Man cartoon and the 1980s Masters of the Universe.
The series description reads: “It’s technology versus magic as He-Man and the heroic warriors face Skeletor’s forces and more in MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVOLUTION, the new epic chapter in the battle for Castle Grayskull!”
The new mechanized Skeletor, “armed with the power of Motherboard, attacks the heart of Eternia while Prince Adam grapples with a new responsibility and what it means for him as He-Man! Adam is forced to choose between the scepter or the sword and a life as king or champion! Meanwhile, the new sorceress Teela searches for the secret of Serpent Magic in the mists of Dark Smoke to rebuild a magical kingdom and help He-Man keep at bay the greatest threat Eternia has ever faced: the return of the despot Hordak, the ruthless leader of the Horde Empire!”
Masters of the Universe: Revolution will premiere on Netflix on January 25, 2024.
