NEON has released a delightful new trailer for a charming looking new animated film titled Robot dreams. The film follows the adventures and misfortunes of Dog and Robot in 1980s New York. There is no dialogue in the film.
The film is based on the popular graphic novel by Sara Varon, and the synopsis reads: “Dog lives in Manhattan and is tired of being alone. One day, after seeing an advertisement on television, he decides to build a robot, a companion. Their friendship blossoms, until they become inseparable, to the rhythm of 80s New York. One summer night, Dog, with great sadness, is forced to abandon Robot on the beach. Will they ever meet again?”
The film was written and directed by director Pablo Berger and will be released in theaters this year, 2024.
