George Clooney AND Brad Pitt. are reuniting for an upcoming action thriller titled Wolvesand this is their first collaboration since Ocean’s Eleven series e It burns after reading. We don’t know much about this story, but Clooney and Pitt play two professional “fixers” who find themselves hired for the same job.
During a recent interview with Total film, Clooney offered some additional insight into the film by explaining that it feels like an Ocean’s R-Rated movie, which sounds interesting. The film was directed by Jon Watts (Spiderman trilogy) and Clooney said:
“He’s a sad, very sad guy. He’s angry. He’s getting old. He’ll be 60 in a couple of weeks. After that it’s all downhill for him. Uh… It’s a really good movie. I love this guy, Jon Watts. That director. It’s out there. We just had a screening of it, and the place did like crap. So, we’re excited about it. We think it’s a really fun, dark – very dark – crazy movie… It feels like a movie from Ocean’s R-rated.”
It looks fantastic! He seems very happy and this could very well end up being a great movie! Wolves is an Apple Original Movie and was acquired after winning an all-out bidding war with major movie studios. Sony Pictures will distribute it theatrically.
The film is also the protagonist Amy Ryan, Austin AbramsAND Poorna Jagannathan. The release is scheduled for September 20, 2024.
