Here is a collection of official images from the western film Rust as a writer and director Joel Souza. Movie stars Alec Baldwin and this is the movie that was shut down more than a year ago after its star Alec Baldwin shot a gun unknowingly loaded with a real bullet during rehearsals that ended up killing the film’s cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
The film’s production faced numerous lawsuits from former crew members against the film’s producers, which led to an investigation into alleged systemic safety issues on the set. As of now, only the film’s gunsmith, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, is facing charges. She has pleaded not guilty and the case will go to trial in February. The charges against Baldwin were dropped.
Rust is based on a story developed by Souza and Baldwin and follows the story of a 13-year-old boy, left to fend for himself and his younger brother after the death of his parents in 1880s Kansas, who is taken on a violent and harrowing journey. in old Mexico to his long-lost grandfather after being sentenced to hang for the accidental killing of a local rancher.
The new images were released by Deadline and include two stills shot by Hutchins. Those include the image of the actress Francesca Fisher in the doorway, and the other is of the lone horseman on the right of the screen.
One of the other photos features the actor Patrick Scott McDermott, who plays the film’s protagonist Lucas Hollister. See the photos below.
