John Wick director Chad Stahelski is a big fan of Star Warsand he would really like to try directing a Star Wars films for Disney and Lucasfilm. During a recent interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Stahelski revealed that he has ideas about what he would do with the franchise and wonders if Disney could outlast him. He said:
“I’m a Star Wars guy, like the first Star Wars changed the course of my life. Maybe someday out there, Disney, if you’re listening. I’d give it a try. I challenge you to see if Disney can survive. ” Myself.”
I would love to see Stahelski tackle Star Wars! I have no doubt that he would be a tough guy Star Wars action movie, which would be great to see. I just don’t think Disney or Lucasfilm could survive him, which is why they’ll probably never ask him.
Stahelski also said that when it comes to Marvel Studios, he would also like to try his hand at directing a Blade film if the opportunity arose. He said:
“Of all the things out there, I’d give Blade a shot in a second. Like it’s something that gets under my skin, like ‘Ah! I’d give that a shot.'”
He would be a great choice for that franchise too! While it’s a shame that Disney probably won’t consider bringing him into Star Wars or Marvel, Stahelski still has some great projects in development that will keep him busy, like Highlanders, Ghost of Tsushima, John Wick: Chapter 5and more.
Would you like to see Staleski direct a Star Wars film for Lucasfilm oa Lama movie for Marvel?
