UTA appoints Stefanie Liquori as General Counsel and Partner

UTA has appointed Stefanie Liquori as general counsel and partner to Andrew Taus, the agency’s chief operating officer.

For the past 20 months, Liquori has served as President and CEO of DSG Entertainment Services, the former holding company of Deluxe Entertainment Services, directing the company’s core business sales to private equity buyers.

Previously, he worked for Deluxe for 15 years as the General Counsel and Managing Director, overseeing strategic and business operations, and overseeing the Legal Department on capital raising, intellectual property, litigation, compliance and employment. Deluxe offers a wide range of services for cinemas, television studios, digital content providers and advertising agencies.

Liquor has previously worked as an in-house consultant for Panavision and as a corporate finance and M&A attorney at Skadden Arps in New York.

“The appointment of Stephanie as an outstanding corporate executive and CEO advisor brings UTA extensive legal and transactional experience in media and entertainment,” said Thau, Chief Operating Officer. “Your UTA membership reflects our efforts to attract the best talent as we continue to navigate the thriving entertainment ecosystem to explore opportunities to better serve our customers.”

Liquori was recruited in the context of UTA’s evolutionary era. Late last year, it acquired MediaLink, a strategic marketing and media consulting firm. UTA and its partner, Klutch Sports Group, have also established a significant presence in Atlanta.

“I’m so happy to be part of the next phase of his growth,” she said.

Liquori will launch on May 31 and will be located at the UTA Beverly Hills headquarters.
