As a preview of Prime Video’s 2024 offering, Amazon has released first looks at projects starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway, Camila Mendes and more.
There is already a first look at the films and television series that will be available on Amazon’s streaming service Street house. Gyllenhaal is seen at the start of the teaser showing off his ripped body as he enters a fight ring. He is then seen fighting a group of people in a parking lot.
“Ooooh, I just hit you, are you okay?” you hear Gyllenhaal say sarcastically after touching his opponent’s hand and appearing before a scene in which he fights with the other.
Street house is a remake of the MGM film from 1989. This time Gyllenhaal plays a former UFC athlete. His co-stars include real-life MMA champion Conor McGregor, illy Magnussen, Daniela Melchior, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Lukas Gage, Hannah Love Lanier, Travis Van Winkle, BK Cannon, Arturo Castro, Dominique Columbus, Beau Knapp and Bob Menery.
The first look also shows the Sizzle Real The idea of you, starring Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine. In the scene, Hathaway is seen cuddling with her shirtless co-star, played by Galitzine.
“What are people going to say?” Hathaway asks in one scene, to which her partner replies, “I don’t care what they say.”
The idea of you is based on a novel by Robinne Lee about a single mother who takes her daughter to Coachella and begins a relationship with the singer of a boy band.
Other early looks you can see on the reel include: Ricky Stanicky, with Zac Efron and John Cena as well as Mendes in the romantic comedy Updated.
