Sony’s Crunchyroll has been added Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – For Hashira training added to the calendar for the first quarter of 2024 with the date February 23.
The feature shows Ep. Episode 11 of the Swordsmith Village Arc, with the end of the fierce battle between Tanjiro and Upper Four, Hantengu and Nezuko’s victory over the sun. It is followed by Ep. 1 of the Hashira practice arc with the start of the Hashira practice in preparation for the upcoming final against Muzan Kibutsuji. This is the first time both episodes will be shown in theaters and they will be available on Imax.
Demon Slayer: Kimetus no Yaiba opens the same weekend as Focus Features’ Chase away dolls and Lionsgate/Kingdom Stories Ordinary angels It will be an even more comprehensive release product for exhibitors who are worried about the box office desert in the first and second quarter of next year.
