EXCLUSIVE: Mainstay Entertainment has signed Rachael Leigh Cook for representation in all territories.
Cook is currently seen in Hallmark’s Family Vacation film Save Christmas. The project was developed and produced under Cook’s development agreement with Marvista. Cook also stars in and produces the Netflix film A travel guide to fall in love with. Cook previously appeared in the film Ghost Halloween, opposite Christopher Lloyd. In 2021, Cook starred in Netflix He is all thata gender-swapped remake of her hit 1999 romantic comedy in which she starred. In 2020, Cook pitched, produced and starred in the Netflix film Love guaranteed opposite Damon Wayans Jr. and Heather Graham. The film debuted at number 1 on the streaming platform.
She recently signed a major development and talent deal with Fox’s Marvista Entertainment. As part of the deal, Cook will star and produce a number of projects including There she goes, (w/t), a feature film loosely based on her real-life experiences. The film will shoot in New York state in the second quarter of 2024. The overall deal is one of the highest-profile partnerships Marvista Entertainment has announced since its acquisition by Fox Entertainment in December 2021.
Cook began her acting career in 1995 when she landed her first audition as a lead actress in a major motion picture The Babysitters Club.
