Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island, Stupid money) has joined the cast of the heist comedy Withdrawalalongside the previously announced cast member Eddie Murphy (Beverly Hills cop, The Nutty Professor). The two Saturday night live the former students will be the protagonists of the film directed by Tim’s story (Taxi, Run across).
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the film was written by Matt Mider AND Kevin Burrows, who had previously worked together on writing the film The package and create the series Gentlemen Lobsters. The only information the studio is releasing about the upcoming film is that it’s being described as a heist comedy.
Davidson recently appeared in a biopic drama Stupid moneyand is currently touring the United States in 2023
Murphy just starred and produced Candy Cane Streetpremiered December 1 on Prime Video.
