The guest star lineup for the second season of the Fox comedy series has been revealed. Animal controlhero Joel McHale as “Frank, an opinionated and eccentric animal control officer who may not have gone to college but is still the most educated person in the room. A former cop, Frank tried to expose corruption in his department, but his efforts got him fired, which may explain why he’s so cynical and surly. He has an almost superhuman ability to understand animals. Humans…not so much.”
McHale is joined by the main cast members Vella Lovell as Emily Price, Michael Rowland as Fred “Shred” Taylor, Ravi Patel like Amit Patel, and Grace Palmer as Victoria Sands.
The guest stars of the upcoming second season will include Sarah Chalke (Scrub) as Yazmin, who McHale’s main character Frank sees as the one who got away; Kristal Smith (Welcome to Flatch) will play the role of Bettany, Emily’s (Lovell) tough assistant; and McHale Community co-star Ken Jeong will join the series as Lee Park, a “respected and moderately deranged dog whisperer.”
This is a great lineup of new co-stars! It will be fun to see McHale and Jeong reunite for one more series before returning for that one Community movie reunion together with the other co-stars Donald Glover as Troy Barnes, Danny Pudi as Abed Nadir, Alison Brie as Annie Edison, Gillian Jacobs like Britta Perry, and Jim Rash as Dean Pelton. We still don’t know for sure if Yvette Nicole Brown will be back. Keith David he is also expected to reprise his role as Elroy Patashnik.
Animal control Season 2 will premiere March 6 on Fox.
